| Christopher Guy Denis Lambert was born March 29, 1957 in Long Island, New York. Raised in Geneva, Lamberts' French family returned to Paris when he was 16. There Lambert was accepted to the acting program at the Paris Conservatoire. His true talent was discovered when director Hugh Hudson chose him for the leading role in "Greystoke, The Legend of Tarzan. Lambert went on to star in Luc Besson's "Subway," in 1985, which earned him the French Cesar award as best actor. Lambert is most widely known for his leading role in the Highlander series in the 80's and 90's and the three cult-classic movies that followed.
